Hudson Yards is the city's most ambitious private real estate development, built over active rail infrastructure and developed as a fully integrated urban district. We look at how large mixed-use areas are designed as energy- and data-driven operating systems, with district energy solutions, robust power infrastructure and smart building platforms.
Cornell Tech on Roosevelt Island is New York's hub for applied technology. The highlight is the Bloomberg Center, one of the world's largest academic buildings designed for net-zero energy use — a living laboratory for next-generation building systems, with geothermal wells, solar panels and smart building technology.
Google's New York headquarters offers insight into how one of the world's most advanced technology companies runs and optimises large office environments. Google is a pioneer in using AI for building operations and energy systems. Machine learning optimises HVAC systems, reduces energy use and improves operational efficiency across the company's global real estate portfolio.
An exclusive mini-symposium bringing together US investors, founders and ecosystem builders. The program consists of pitches from participating companies and short panels exploring how AI is changing the investment landscape. Participating startups present their solutions, followed by curated one-on-one conversations between investors and delegation participants.
Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) holds significant investments in New York and owns some of the city's most prestigious office and retail properties through partnerships with leading developers and operators. NBIM CEO Nicolai Tangen has been clear about the opportunities in artificial intelligence.
